Licences and Permits

 

Provincial Lure Licence and the Statutory Fishery Fee

The Lure Licence of the Province of Western Finland is to be payed into account no. Sampo 800013 - 29528. The fee is 27 €  per year or 6 € per seven days.

In addition those over 18 and under 65 years of age have to pay the Statutory Fishery Fee of the Finnish State, which amounts to 15 € yearly or 5 € for a seven days period. It should be payed into account no. Sampo 800016 - 10210.

If the angler is not resident in the Province of Western Finland, he can get the licences needed for a weekend fishing trip cheaper when one buys them straight from one´s host in the Archipelago. For trollers there are more that ten large common permit areas in the Archipelago.

 

Common Permit Areas

In the Common Permit areas there is usually no rod quata. The types of permits vary from covering the whole boat to single personal permits.

If You are fishing certain, small water-area, these permits can be cheaper to You Than provincial Lure Licence. Ask Your Travel-agengy or Your holiday-village host. The map of these Common Permit areas You can find on "Sportfishing in Archipelago", which You can order from
