How to Tune the Shad
Text and photo: ktl
You
perhaps think, that now this man has
gone crazy, when has not caught any fishes. The
photo is not of shadjig-soup, but of how to tune good vibrations on the
shads. When shad get dry, they loose a lot of attracting movements. When
you stop reeling, the shad should dive down with nicely vibrating tail.
Old shads do not fish as effective as new, fresh ones.
Simple
way to renew your old shads is to cooke them two minutes in boiling water.
And the fishes love boiled shads with nice movements on the tails.
